Nick, our roaster roasts our beans using a CSA certified low loss gas trains with high output, a high-efficiency roaster that sets with full range modulation of either natural and LP gas. This roaster is equipped with the latest technology to ensure our roast profiles are consistent and bring out the beans' most favorable taste notes. Nick continuously improves our roasts and green coffee sourcing to provide unmatched quality and taste across our coffees.
We source all our raw materials (green beans), specifically in-season and only in GrainPro bags. These bags keep the green beans completely sealed and protect them from odors, mold, and moisture while traveling across seas. GrainPro improves human wellbeing through responsible consumption and climate action and creates jobs and economic growth in a gender equality work environment. Read more about the benefits around their hermetically sealed bags page.
The actual meaning of small batch roasting may surprise you. Small batch roasting means that we do not fully maximize the capacity of the roaster with every batch. Our current roaster is a 15kg machine that can hold a total of 33lbs per batch. Our largest batch sizes do not go beyond 26.4lbs. Roasting in smaller batch sizes grants us full control over the roaster as well as consistency. This added control is imperative because it allows us to roast a touch lighter, highlighting the beans' true taste profile.
All of the coffees that we source for our Signature Blends and Single Origins have been put through numerous rounds of sampling and cupping to confirm the bean quality. We separate our coffee lineup from the rest by focusing on quality first and only sourcing beans consistently scoring in the range of 86 – 88pts—even for our blends. Using high-scoring coffees is where we find the difference between our blends compared to those on the market.
The SMART choice: Each order not only comes with the freshest, tastiest product; but with LOVE that you can smell before you even brew it!
Walking to my mailbox I knew my coffee had arrived. The aroma was incredible.
What I liked was how smooth it was and had no acidic taste at all. Better than the other guys...
I was exceptionally pleased with this coffee. Not bitter and very smooth, with a nice creamy mouthfeel.
I haven't bought coffee online until now. The word got out among friends that I should try the Coffee Bros line now available on Amazon. I'm partial to Dark Roast so that was my first purchase. Sorry to make folks jealous, but I'm in the middle of enjoying a really tasty mug of some terrific Coffee Bros coffee. Buy some for yourself so you don't have to imagine how good it is.
I purchased the Dark roast, medium roast and light roast. All are delicious....I would purchase again
As soon as I got home from work, I could smell the amazing aromas seeping out of my mailbox. It was at that moment I knew my Coffee Bros had arrived. I went inside super excited to brew up a nice pour over to see if the taste notes matched the aroma. And let me tell you, they did !! This is my new go to, good job Coffee Bros, you have yourselves a new customer !
Interesting coffee, unique, has a very aromatic floral smell usually not found in espresso beans at least in my experience, smooth coffee not acidic, now I want to try their dark roast
This is a must try for all coffee lovers! The aroma is strong and smells delicious before even taking a sip. Great flavor. A quality product. I will most definitely be trying the other 3 flavors.

Everything we make, buy and sell, leaves a carbon trail that we are responsible for reducing. Our first step of action is to offset our prior years' operation and then set ourselves on a path for naturally reducing our emissions through thoughtful business choices. We put a freshness, quality, and consistency guarantee into every bag of our coffee. For freshness, we source our raw materials during the current and optimal season. All of our blends and single origins are of the highest quality ranging from 86 – 89pt+. Finally, consistency comes down to roasting in small controlled batches for the perfect flavor profile. Coffee plants are at risk due to drastic climate changes, among many other factors. This is why we teamed up with World Coffee Research's effort to improve the crop's sustainability and the farmers' livelihood who grow it. The most efficient way to solve these issues for both businesses and farmers is through collaborative scientific research and development. Learn more about this initiative here.
All our coffees are sourced in GrainPro bags due to the quality of life benefits received by smallholder farmers, such as a 20 – 70% increase in revenue to standard market value. GrainPro products help reduce food losses and improve food quality by protecting agriculture commodities against insect infestation, mold growth, oxidation, and rancidity. To further support the causes we love, we implemented an "add a donation" option at checkout. Right now, we are supporting One Tree Planted who aids in revitalizing forests in coffee-growing regions and Grounds for Health who's mission is to prevent cervical cancer in coffee communities. From the start and throughout this entire journey, we knew the cornerstone of our coffee program would be sustainability, quality, consistency, and freshness. About the Roaster
Location: Queens, NY
About: The Coffee Bros. creators and brothers, Dan and Nick brought to life four classic blends to please all taste palates- Light, Medium, Dark, and Espresso roasts. What makes Coffee Bros. different from big box brands is that they follow their ethically-sourced micro-lot coffees from farm to roaster. The green beans are harvested and purchased during the current and optimal season and are sent in GrainPro bags to keep the green beans completely sealed so that no odors, mold, or moisture can seep into the beans on their journey. Among the many other differentiators, both brothers agreed early on that they would never over roast their beans (say goodbye to overly bitter coffee). Unbeknownst to consumers, most coffee on the market is over-roasted and burnt which means that the natural taste notes of the beans are masked. Taste the difference!
